Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

White Carrara Honed Marble is a metamorphic stone sold by quote. It arrives in random slab sizes at a 1 1/4 inch thickness. The honed face reads matte and smooth to the touch. These marble slabs are cut to order for your project. Pricing is determined by the specific pieces you select.

White Carrara honed finish

The white background carries soft grey veining that shifts across each slab. The honed finish diffuses light rather than reflecting it. You will see moderate variation between pieces as each slab comes from a different part of the block. The pattern does not repeat. The veining size and tone differ from one slab to the next. Expect a natural stone look that shows its origin.

Where to use it

Bathroom and kitchen surfaces

This stone suits shower walls, commercial interior walls, residential countertops and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the slabs. We do not deliver slabs to a home or job site. Delivery goes to the fabricator by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse, or by crated LTL freight beyond that. The batch list on this page shows the sizes in stock. Slabs from one batch match most closely. Marble is softer than granite and reacts to acids. Lemon, vinegar and wine etch the surface. Seal it after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner. Avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads. Dry-lay the pieces before setting to spread the color variation evenly. Back butter large pieces so there is no hollow under the stone. A void under marble shows up later as a cracked piece.
