Bluestone Look Porcelain

Bluestone is the flagstone of the American northeast: a dense blue grey sandstone used for porches, patios and steps for two hundred years. It is also heavy, expensive to ship and porous enough to stain and to spall in a hard freeze. This series prints and textures that face onto porcelain instead.

Two colourways carry the range: Blue Select, the even blue grey that most people picture, and Full Color, which keeps the rust and brown variation that runs through a natural bluestone bed. Thermal Blue Select gives the rougher thermal finish look.

Sizes and pieces

Field tiles at 12x12, 12x24 and 24x48, mosaics at 12x12, and bullnose at 3x24, all matte.

Indoors and out

Inside, this series works on entries, sunrooms and mudroom floors, where a stone face and a hard surface are both wanted. For an outdoor patio at ground level, use the 20 mm Frontier20 range instead, which is made to be laid on gravel or sand and includes coping and stair pieces.
