Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

  • Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
  • LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
  • Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
  • Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Afyon Gold With a Soft Honed Face

Afyon Gold is a honed marble slab with a creamy white ground, fractured dark markings, and muted beige-gold accents. It has real depth. These marble slabs suit projects that call for irregular movement rather than straight, evenly spaced veins, especially on kitchen countertops or bathroom walls.

Design

Broken Ribbons Over Creamy White

Up close, the slab shows a pale cream and white base assembled from cloudy, angular fragments. Dark violet-black ribbons cross the face. They form dense, webbed patches through the middle and lower areas, while tan and gold seams appear between softer gray-beige clouds. The lines change direction often, giving the honed surface a layered, brecciated appearance.

Mixed-scale markings

Fine crackled lines sit beside broad dark clusters and larger cream fragments.

Matte finish

Honing leaves the marble smooth and low in reflection, so its layered pattern remains easy to read.

Where to use it

A Strong Pattern for Feature Areas

On residential countertops, the fractured pattern makes each cut feel distinct and gives a kitchen a clear focal point. The matte face stays grounded. Shower walls and residential interior walls can also display the broad patches well, especially where a larger section of the random-size slab remains visible.

Random sizing

Dimensions vary, so a fabricator confirms the selected slab against the project template.

Substantial thickness

The listed slab thickness is 1 1/4 inches.

Why we chose it

  • Detailed natural patternCream fragments, dark webbing, and gold-beige seams give the face several layers of movement.
  • Matte presentationThe honed finish reduces glare and tends to hide scratches and etching better than polish.
  • Slab-by-slab choiceEvery natural stone slab has its own markings, allowing the preferred balance of light and dark areas to be selected.
