How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Quartzite · Slab

Suitable for shower walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls, and residential interior walls, this polished quartzite arrives as full slabs in random sizes. The stone reads white with natural veining and carries a mirror-like polish that catches light across its surface. Each slab measures 1 1/4 inches thick and arrives as a single piece of stone with unique markings. Pricing is by quote for the slabs you select. View batch sizes and availability for this material.

Design

White stone with polished finish

The white background carries grey and black veining that flows across each slab. The polished surface reflects ambient light and deepens the stone's natural contrast. Variation between slabs is expected, as each piece comes from a different block of stone. The random sizes allow a fabricator to cut pieces for countertops or large wall panels. Check current batch sizes on this page.

Random slab sizes

Each slab is a single piece of stone with its own dimensions and unique markings. A fabricator cuts these to fit your project.

Polished quartzite

This metamorphic sandstone holds a mirror shine and resists etching better than marble. It still requires sealing in kitchens and wet rooms.

Where to use it

Slabs for bathroom and kitchen

A licensed fabricator templates and installs these slabs after delivery to their shop. We do not deliver slabs directly to job sites. Delivery happens by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse holding the slab, or by crated LTL freight beyond that. The stone suits shower walls, residential countertops, commercial interior walls, and residential interior walls. Rooms like the living room, kitchen, and bathroom work well. Request a quote for your slabs to begin.

Batch matching

Slabs from the same batch come from one block and look the closest to each other. The batch list shows what is currently in stock.

Polished finishThe polished surface reflects light and deepens the stone's natural contrast. It shows wear sooner than honed options.

Care

The polished surface shows etching and wear sooner than honed finishes. Seal the stone in kitchens and wet rooms to protect it. Wipe spills quickly to maintain the mirror shine.
