How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Fuller Barro Depth with a Satin Surface

The Barro sintered stone slab has a calm brown body, faint mottling, and a Satin finish with modest reflection. It looks solid. Manufactured from minerals that are pressed and fired, its pattern continues through the body and repeats closely among slabs made in one production run.

Design

Brown Mist Across a Quiet Face

The ground is a subdued gray-brown with thin, foggy areas that drift irregularly over the broad surface. Veins are not prominent. The movement has no fixed direction, and slightly lighter clouds appear most clearly through the middle while the outer areas remain comparatively even.

Fogged brown field

Pale, mist-like changes soften the broad brown ground without forming obvious lines.

Satin reflection

The finish produces a gentle sheen that sits between a matte face and high gloss.

For sintered stone, a batch is one manufacturing run. Its slabs carry a pattern that repeats closely from one piece to the next.

Where can the selected slabs be shipped?

They go to a licensed fabricator rather than a job site. Local transport uses an A-frame truck within 50 miles, with crated LTL freight used beyond that range.
