Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Basalt Grey is a sintered stone slab with a deep charcoal face and restrained movement. It reads calm. Pressed and fired from minerals, this manufactured Neolith surface carries its pattern through the body and repeats closely from slab to slab.

Design

Dark Movement Under Satin

Across the face, smoky gray bands drift diagonally from lower left toward upper right, with broad clouds softening the darker ground. The pattern stays quiet. Fine changes in tone cover the slab rather than forming sharp veins, while the satin finish adds a soft sheen between matte and gloss.

Smoky direction

Long, low-contrast gray bands create movement without a busy network of veins.

Satin surface

A gentle sheen catches some light while keeping the charcoal color grounded.

Satin falls between matte and gloss. It gives Basalt Grey a soft sheen without creating a highly reflective face.

How do production batches work?

For Neolith, a batch is one production run. Its pattern repeats closely, though reviewing the photos for the available batches is still useful before requesting a quote.

How is this slab delivered?

Slabs go to a licensed fabricator, not the job site. Delivery uses an A-frame truck within 50 miles of the holding warehouse and crated LTL freight beyond that.
