How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Thicker Beton with a Silk Surface

Beton is a sintered stone slab with a concrete-inspired pattern and a substantial 3/4 thickness. The look stays restrained. Made by pressing and firing minerals, this Neolith surface carries its pattern through the body and repeats closely across slabs from one production run.

Design

Warm Gray Clouds Across Silk

From edge to edge, the slab shows a light gray-beige base with soft taupe shadows, muted blue-gray traces, and hazy patches of warmer color. The markings spread widely. Faint bands move mostly across the slab, while several irregular vertical marks and tiny scattered spots break up the broad, cloudy field.

Broad tonal shifts

Large pale clouds move between warm beige and cool gray without sharp borders.

Subtle surface detail

Fine specks and rubbed-looking marks keep the concrete reference from appearing flat.

Where to use it

Substance for Countertops and Walls

For residential countertops, the 3/4 thickness gives fabricators a different starting format than the slimmer Beton slab while retaining the same quiet direction. It reads gently. The pattern can also span kitchen interior walls or bathroom shower walls, where broad areas reveal its layered gray and beige changes.

Can slabs be delivered directly to my project?

No. Slabs go to a licensed fabricator who templates, cuts, and installs them. Stone Tile Depot does not deliver slabs to the job site.
