How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Sintered Stone · Slab

Calacatta Gold presents a white base with a polished finish that reflects light across the surface. This sintered stone arrives as full 125x63 inch slabs. We price each slab by quote rather than listing a set rate. The material carries a modern style. Pricing is by quote for the slabs you select.

Design

The white background shows subtle grey veining that runs through the slab. The polished finish reads bright in direct light and deepens the underlying tones. You will see slight variation between pieces as each slab carries its own markings. The veining size differs from one slab to the next. We stock these slabs in random sizes that require cutting to order.

Polished surface reflects light

The buffed finish creates a mirror shine that highlights the grey veining patterns.

Slight variation between pieces

Each slab is a unique piece with its own size and natural markings.

Where to use it

We specify this slab for residential interior walls, shower walls, residential countertops and commercial interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. We keep the slabs in stock at the Fairfax warehouse. You should match slabs from the same batch for the closest visual match. The fabricator cuts the material for vanities and large-format walls.

Residential interior walls

Suitable for bathroom and kitchen wall applications.

Shower walls

Works well for wet area walls in residential settings.
