How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Calacatta Polished in Fine Gray Lines

A bright field gives this Calacatta Polished sintered stone slab an open, light appearance, while gray veining adds motion across its length. It reads crisp. The 126x59 rectangular format is 1/4 inch thick and is made from minerals pressed and fired into a manufactured Neolith surface.

Design

Polished Depth Along Broken Veins

Near the top, a long gray band angles down toward the right, splitting into many faint lines as it crosses the pale background. White remains dominant. A second branching area rises from the lower left, while thin central marks and soft gray clouds connect the two stronger zones across the face.

Bright polished face

The mirror shine deepens the gray pattern against the light ground.

Broken diagonal flow

Long veins separate into fine, irregular branches rather than solid stripes.

Where to use it

Reflective Scale for Walls and Counters

On bathroom shower walls or living room interior walls, the polished face reflects light while the diagonal veining gives large sections a clear direction. Keep cuts intentional. Residential countertops are another listed use, with fabrication handled by the licensed professional who templates and installs the selected material.

It does not change the printed design, but its mirror shine gives the gray lines greater depth and contrast.

Do slabs vary within a batch?

A Neolith batch is one production run. The pattern repeats closely, and the current photos make selection straightforward.

How does freight work?

The slab goes to a licensed fabricator by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the holding warehouse. Beyond that range, it travels by crated LTL freight.
