How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

This Calacatta Silk sintered stone slab pairs a pale gray-white field with flowing gray lines in a substantial 126x63 format. Its presence is measured. At 3/4 inch thick, the rectangular Neolith surface gives contractors a defined size for planning cuts across kitchen, bathroom, or living room projects.

Design

Feathered Bands on a Silk Face

From the upper left, wispy gray bands sweep toward the lower right, with fine offshoots spreading around the center and lower edge. The center stays open. Gray clouds gather lightly beside the main veins, while a few sharper lines create contrast without overpowering the broad, nearly white ground.

Where to use it

Silk Finish for Broad Installations

Within a kitchen, the slab can form a residential countertop with long gray movement running across the planned pieces and adjoining edges. Large cuts read clearly. Bathroom shower walls and living room interior walls also make good settings for its wide pattern and closely repeating manufactured design.

Discuss the diagonal vein direction while the fabricator prepares the cutting plan.
