How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Calacatta Turquoise in a Quiet Honed Finish

Calacatta Turquoise feels expressive. This marble slab pairs a pale background with broad movement, giving kitchen or bathroom projects a strong focal surface without a polished shine.

Design

Clouded White With Green Gray Movement

The face stays matte. The photo shows a creamy white ground crossed by dense gray and green gray veining, with cloudy areas, broken lines, and several darker mineral spots. Much of the movement sweeps diagonally, while finer cracks branch in several directions. Honing softens the contrast.

Dense natural markings

Large cloudy forms sit beside thin branching veins, so the slab reads differently from near and far.

Low reflected light

The honed finish is smooth and matte, keeping the white body and darker lines visually calm.

Where to use it

A Feature Surface With Broad Movement

Consider the full layout. On residential countertops or shower walls, a fabricator can position the strongest diagonal movement where it will remain visible after cutting and installation. Commercial interior walls can also show a generous section of the pattern. The listed random size requires planning around the selected slab.

What does the honed finish look like?

It is ground smooth and left matte. Compared with polished marble slabs, the surface reflects less light and keeps the pattern subdued.

How is this slab priced and prepared?

It is priced by quote. A licensed fabricator receives the chosen slab, then templates, cuts, and installs it.

How does slab delivery work?

Delivery goes to the fabricator, not the job site. It travels by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the holding warehouse or by crated LTL freight beyond that.
