Marble · Rectangular coffee table
Carrara White rectangular coffee table, metal legs
This rectangular coffee table is made from Carrara White marble quarried in Turkey. It comes in three sizes, 16 by 32, 20 by 40 and 24 by 48 inches, each 16.5 inches high, on metal legs painted black or white. A rectangle suits long sofas and symmetrical layouts, which makes this table a natural anchor for a structured seating group.
Design
Soft gray veining, clean frame
The top is polished white marble with the soft gray veining Carrara is known for, a focal point that does not need extra styling. It is a 3/4 inch thick slab with eased edges, finished by hand, so each table carries its own natural colour variation. Marble stays cool to the touch, and its natural surface has none of the plastic feel of manufactured tops. The metal legs give the top a stable base that does not shift when drinks are set down or decor is moved. The eased edge adds refinement without the ornate profile that dates quickly.

Where to use it
Three sizes for long sofas
The 16 by 32 inch table suits a loveseat or a small apartment, 20 by 40 inches fits most standard sofas, and 24 by 48 inches works with a long sofa or a sectional. All three stand 16.5 inches high. The design reads as classic rather than trendy, so it sits well in contemporary, mid-century modern and transitional living rooms. White legs keep the whole piece light, and black legs outline the white top against the floor.
Sizes

Delivery and setup
Setting it down safely
A solid marble top is heavy in every size, so two or more people should handle it. Place the table on a level floor so the legs bear evenly. Felt pads under the legs protect wood and tile. Lift the table into place rather than sliding it.

Each of these tables is made to order. If none of the three sizes suits the room, the table can be made in a custom size or with a different finish. To start a custom order, contact us with the measurements of the seating area.
Care
Carrara White is a calcite marble with a polished surface. Polishing makes the surface smoother, but the stone remains porous: acidic drinks and cleaners can etch it and pigments can stain it if left to sit. Sealing helps protect it from stains and keeps its shine, and how often it is resealed depends on use. With care, a marble table can stay in a family for generations.
