Product Description
ROOSTER STATUE
The Most Painted Thing Here
Red comb and wattles, a hackle that runs orange into yellow into white down the neck, a body in dark green shot through with copper and bronze, and tail feathers that shift toward blue at the tips.
Most concrete garden statues are one color or two. This is five or six worked into each other, and at $79.99 it carries more handwork than pieces costing twice as much.
The pose is upright and alert, head raised, chest forward, standing on a low stone base. It is a farmyard bird doing what farmyard birds do, which is looking like they own the place.

What Makes This Piece Different
- More paintwork than anything else in the range. Comb and wattles in red, a hackle grading orange to yellow to white, a body in dark green with copper and bronze worked through it, tail feathers turning blue. Concrete garden statues are usually a single tone with a wash over it. This is layered color, and it is the reason a small piece holds attention at close range.
- An upright alert pose. Head raised, chest out, weight forward. A rooster standing tall is a specific attitude, and it reads from across a garden even before the color registers.
- Twenty three inches, which is life size. Real roosters are about this tall. It sits in a border at the height a bird would actually be, rather than as an oversized ornament.
- A low stone base cast in. The feet grip a rough stone slab, part of the same casting, so it stands level on soil, gravel or paving without wobbling.
Where to put it
A border edge, a vegetable garden, beside a path, near a door. Farmhouse and cottage settings suit it, and it works well in a kitchen garden where the reference lands. The color holds up against green planting, so it does not need a pale background the way muted pieces do.

Setup, Care, and Warranty
Placement
One piece, nothing to assemble. The cast stone base sits level on soil, gravel or paving.
Keeping the color
Hand painted layers hold best out of relentless direct sun. A spot with afternoon shade keeps the greens and coppers deep for considerably longer.
Cleaning
Rinse and wipe with a soft cloth. Avoid liquid cleaners on the paintwork, since the layered color is what you paid for.
Winter
Sealed concrete handles freeze and thaw well when dry. Check the base is not sitting in a puddle through winter.
3-year warranty
This product includes a 3-year warranty against cracking. Coverage, claim requirements and required documents are subject to the warranty policy that applies at the time of purchase. Keep your order confirmation and contact customer support with your order details if service is needed.
Questions Before You Choose
Is it really hand painted?
Yes, and in several layers. The hackle grades from orange through yellow to white, and the body carries copper and bronze over dark green. A single tone wash looks nothing like it.
How big is it?
22.8 inches, which is about life size for a rooster. It sits in a border at the height a real bird would be.
Will the color fade?
Years of unbroken direct sun will lift some depth, as with any painted outdoor piece. Afternoon shade keeps it strong for much longer.
What setting suits it?
Farmhouse, cottage and kitchen gardens, where the reference makes sense. The color holds against green planting, so it does not need a pale background.
