How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Quartzite · Slab

Dolce Vita honed quartzite arrives in a soft beige tone that reads matte under light. It comes as full slabs in random sizes. We sell it by quote. Pricing depends on the slab you choose. Design

Dolce Vita honed quartzite slab

The honed surface leaves the stone matte. Veining runs through the beige in soft, irregular lines. Each slab carries its own markings. Expect variation between slabs and batches. Dolce Vita honed quartzite slab random

Random sizes

Slabs arrive in cut-to-order dimensions. Fabricators template each one.

Matte finish

The honed face hides scratches. It reads flat in bright light.

Where to use it

Dolce Vita honed quartzite slab

This stone suits residential countertops. It works for residential interior walls. It also fits commercial interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. We have no batches or slabs in stock right now. Slabs from one batch match most closely. Dolce Vita honed quartzite slab random

Commercial walls

The slab holds up in busy interiors. It resists etching better than marble.

Residential counters

The honed finish works well in kitchens. Seal it to protect the stone.

Why we chose it

Batch matchingSlabs cut from one block stay close in colour. The batch list shows the sizes available.
Random formatsSlabs come in random sizes. Fabricators cut them to your layout.
Honed readThe honed face stays matte. It hides scratches better than a polish.

Care

Seal the stone in kitchens and wet rooms. Use a pH-neutral cleaner daily. Avoid abrasive pads on the honed face.
