How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Design

Brown tones in a polished finish

The brown base carries lighter veining that shifts from slab to slab. A polished finish reflects light and deepens the stone's color. Each slab is one piece of stone with its own size and markings. Variation between pieces is slight, so dry-laying helps spread the color evenly. A batch is the group of slabs cut from one block, so slabs in the same batch look the closest to each other.

Where to use it

Surfaces for kitchen and bathroom

This marble suits commercial interior walls, residential countertops, shower walls, and residential interior walls. It is rated for kitchen, bathroom, and living room projects. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone to ensure proper support. Back butter large pieces so there is no hollow under the stone. A void under marble shows up later as a cracked piece.

Interior use only

The stone is not frost resistant and is for interior applications.

Care

Seal the marble after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia, or abrasive pads. Marble reacts with acids like lemon, vinegar, and wine, so wipe spills immediately.

We deliver to a licensed fabricator, not to a job site. Delivery is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the Fairfax, VA warehouse, or by crated LTL freight beyond that range.
