Product Description
Essential Design is a 12x24 porcelain decor tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Essential is a plain cement look with a faint iridescent sheen that shows when light rakes across it. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12 in Beige, Gray, Graphite and White, with a Design decor, two mosaics and a bullnose.
The 12x24 Design decor carries a relief pattern. It has the same size and edges as the plain tile, so the two mix on one wall.
The matte face has no sheen, so Essential Design does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next.
Rectified edges, ground square after firing, allow a tight grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 15.5 sq ft in 8 pieces and weighs about 61 lb.
Essential is produced at Del Conca USA's plant in Loudon, Tennessee, and ships from the factory.
