How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Polished Estatuario with Diagonal Gray Flow

Estatuario is a polished sintered stone slab made from minerals pressed and fired into a manufactured surface. Shine adds definition. Its 126x59-inch format and 1/4-inch profile carry a white and gray pattern that repeats closely from one slab to the next.

Design

Bright Polish, Angled Veining

The photo shows a bright white ground with light gray lines branching from the top and lower edges, plus a stronger gray sweep climbing diagonally along the right side. The center stays open. Polishing increases reflection and makes the sparse veins stand out more clearly against the pale field.

Right-side movement

The strongest gray feature rises diagonally near one edge.

Reflective white

A polished face brightens the broad, lightly patterned center.

Where to use it

A Bright Surface with Direction

On residential countertops, the diagonal feature can be placed where its movement supports the main sightline through a kitchen. Interior walls gain brightness. The fixed format also serves shower walls, residential interior floors, and residential light floors in bathrooms or living rooms.

Questions we get

Is polished Estatuario quarried stone?

No. It is sintered stone, manufactured by pressing and firing minerals. Its pattern runs through the body.

Will each slab pattern be different?

The pattern repeats closely from slab to slab. Pieces from the same production-run batch offer the closest coordination.

Can the slab be sent directly to the project?

No. It is delivered to a licensed fabricator who templates, cuts, and installs it. Stone Tile Depot does not deliver slabs to a job site.
