How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Estatuario Polish with Airy Gray Veins

This polished Estatuario Neolith sintered stone slab shows a pale gray-white field with sweeping gray movement and a bright, mirror-like face. Its center stays open. Made by pressing and firing minerals, the manufactured 126x63 surface has a rectangular shape and a listed 3/4 inch thickness.

Design

A Bright Field with Descending Veins

Across the upper edge, cloudy gray masses collect near the left and center before breaking into thinner lines that travel downward and to the right. The veins stay widely separated. Subtle wisps pass through the lower half, leaving generous pale areas between the stronger diagonal branches and scattered edge markings.

Pale gray-white ground

The softly shaded base is lighter and quieter than the stronger top markings.

Polished depth

Mirror shine makes the thin branches and cloudy bands more pronounced.

Where to use it

Long Lines for Planned Fabrication

For residential countertops, the 126x63 format gives a fabricator room to place the main diagonal branch across a visible section. Interior walls can carry more of the full pattern. In a bathroom, the polished face also suits shower walls where broad pale areas and spaced gray movement are desired.

Will the polished face show wear?

A polished surface can show etching and wear sooner than a matte face. Its mirror shine is particularly suited to walls, vanities and low-traffic floors.

How does the quote process start?

Select the desired slab from the current photos and request a quote. The material is sold by the slab rather than at a posted price.

How long does a slab sample take?

Preparation takes 6 to 9 business days. The sample helps show the color and polished finish, while the full slab photograph remains the guide to overall vein placement.
