Product Description
Create a stunning focal point with the Iris Black Textured 2x2 Marble Mosaics—professional-grade marble tiles that deliver luxury backsplash and accent wall results without the premium price tag. These 12x12 inch mosaic sheets feature individual 2x2 marble elements in deep black marble, engineered to add dimension and visual interest to kitchens, bathrooms, and feature walls.
Why Textured Black Marble Outperforms Flat Tiles
The textured surface of these marble mosaics isn't just decorative—it's functional. The subtle dimensional finish catches light from different angles, creating movement and depth that polished marble tiles can't match. This play of light prevents the monotonous, flat appearance that disappoints homeowners with standard black tiles. The texture also increases slip resistance, making it a practical choice for shower floors and bathroom applications where safety matters.
Mount on Mesh Sheets for Faster Installation
Each 12x12 inch sheet comes pre-mounted with adhesive mesh backing, cutting installation time significantly compared to laying individual tiles. The 3/8 inch thickness is ideal for both floor and wall applications. Whether you're a DIY enthusiast handling a weekend bathroom renovation or a contractor managing multiple projects, mesh-mounted mosaics eliminate the tedious work of spacing and alignment—the tiles come perfectly spaced and ready to set.
Versatile Design Applications
Black marble mosaics work as more than just backsplashes. Use them to:
- Define a kitchen backsplash with dramatic contrast against light cabinetry
- Create spa-like shower floors and bathroom accent walls
- Add architectural interest to living room feature walls
- Design custom geometric patterns by mixing sheets or cutting sections
- Establish a modern-meets-luxe aesthetic in commercial spaces
Genuine Marble Quality You Can Trust
Unlike ceramic or porcelain imitations, these are authentic marble mosaics. The deep black marble base provides natural color consistency and the subtle veining variations that make real stone distinctive. Marble's timeless appeal means your installation won't look trendy in five years—it will look intentional and refined. The textured finish hides minor dust and water spots better than polished finishes, reducing maintenance demands in active bathrooms and kitchens.
Complete Your Design Story
Part of a coordinated collection, these mosaics pair seamlessly with complementary wall and floor tiles from the same series. Rather than sourcing materials piecemeal from different manufacturers, you get design cohesion straight out of the box. Mix standard Iris Black sheets with coordinating colors or accent tiles for custom pattern arrangements that feel professionally designed.
Transform ordinary surfaces into sophisticated statements. The Iris Black Textured 2x2 Marble Mosaics combine genuine material quality, practical installation advantages, and visual impact that elevates residential and commercial interiors.
