Ceramic · Accent Tiles
A glossy pink ceramic accent tile eight inches square and three eighths deep. Fourteen pieces to a box, covering 6.22 square feet.

Design
Pink changes character more than most colours depending on what light hits it, and a glossy glaze exaggerates that: warm under a lamp, cooler by a window, and different again against a white field or a dark one. The tile itself carries no pattern, so everything depends on the colour and on where the pieces go. Fired glaze means the shade will not drift over time, which matters for a colour people commit to slowly. Eight inches square also means fewer joints across a band than a small tile would give, so the colour arrives as a block rather than as a grid of it. Fourteen pieces in a box is enough for a band with spares left over, and spares matter with a fired colour, because a later box comes from another run of the kiln.
Fourteen pieces, 6.22 square feet a box.
Warmer under lamps, cooler by daylight.

Where to use it
Residential interior walls is the rating recorded, and living room is the room listed. Accent tiles ceramic pink normally sit inside a field of plain tile, a band or a scattered handful, though twelve boxes would take a full 60 square feet. Ceramic cuts on a hand snapper, which keeps the work simple where a band has to stop at a frame or a shelf. Grout colour then decides whether the band reads as a stripe or as separate pieces.
What a full 60 square feet would need.
A hand cutter ends a run cleanly.
Why we chose it
No sealer. Household tile cleaner keeps the glaze clear and a soft cloth leaves it without streaks.
