How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Neolith Sintered Stone · Slab

Layla Polished with Layered Charcoal

This Layla Neolith sintered stone slab pairs a dark gray ground with broad black movement and a reflective polished surface. It reads almost geological. Pressed and fired from minerals, the manufactured material has a through-body pattern that stays closely repeated from slab to slab within one production run.

Design

Charcoal Layers Under a Polished Shine

Across the slab, a wide diagonal zone of fine black fragments passes beneath larger gray blocks, while scattered white seams trace short paths through the pattern. Movement runs downward across the face. Cloudy sections around the lower edge soften the structure, and the polished finish makes dark areas look deeper while catching light on the paler details.

Broad gray shapes sit above a busier field of charcoal fragments and smoky clouds.

Controlled white tracing

Thin pale seams add definition without turning the slab into a strongly white-veined surface.

A Dark Polished Field for Daily Rooms

Residential countertops make good use of Layla's continuous diagonal sweep, especially where the installation allows a large part of the pattern to remain visible. The face carries distance. Shower walls and residential interior walls can extend the same dark movement through a bathroom, kitchen, or living room.

Yes. Polishing gives Layla a mirror-like shine that deepens the gray and black areas and emphasizes the pale seams.

What does a Neolith batch mean?

A batch is one production run. Its through-body pattern repeats closely, and the production runs available on the page change as slabs sell.

Can I order a slab sample?

A slab sample may be requested and takes 6 to 9 business days to prepare.
