How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Medusa Marble in a Tactile Leather Finish

Medusa is a multicolor marble slab with broad horizontal movement and a softly textured leather finish. It feels calm but expressive. The layered pattern gives residential countertops and commercial interior walls a strong focal point without relying on sharp contrast or high shine.

Design

Layered Color, Soft Leather Texture

Across the face, misty white and pale gray fields meet bands of blue gray, muted green, taupe, charcoal, and faint rust. The movement runs mainly sideways. Some bands look clouded and diffuse, while darker broken markings gather through the lower half of the slab and create a denser, landscape-like pattern.

Horizontal movement

Long, uneven bands make the slab read wider and give the pattern a clear direction.

Low-sheen texture

The leather finish combines a brushed feel with subdued reflection and helps disguise fingerprints and water spots.

Where to use it

Built for Statement Countertops

For a kitchen, Medusa works especially well where a residential countertop can carry the main pattern in the room. Keep nearby materials quieter. In a bathroom or on commercial interior walls, the long bands can establish a broad visual line across the installation while the leather surface keeps reflections controlled.

Plan the direction

Review the slab orientation with the fabricator before templates are cut so the horizontal bands land where intended.

Fabricator delivery

Selected slabs go to a licensed fabricator for templating, cutting, and installation, not directly to the job site.

How much variation should I expect between slabs?

Every natural marble slab has distinct bands and markings. Slabs from one batch match most closely, but buyers should still review each current photo.

How does slab delivery work?

Delivery to the licensed fabricator is by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the holding warehouse or crated LTL freight beyond that distance.

Can I request a sample?

A slab sample may be requested and takes 6 to 9 business days to prepare.
