Quartzite · Slab
Designed for residential countertops in the bathroom and kitchen, Meridian is a gray quartzite slab finished with a polished surface. Each slab arrives in random dimensions from the sizes listed here. We price these stones by quote because every piece varies in size and veining. You will receive a detailed quote once you select your preferred slabs. The stone goes directly to a licensed fabricator for templating and installation. A sample takes six to nine business days to prepare.
Design
Gray quartzite with polished finish
The stone shows a gray base with subtle veining that catches light differently depending on the angle. A polished buff brings out a mirror shine that deepens the color of the stone. Expect natural variation in the veining and the size of each slab. Slabs from the same batch match most closely. The finish shows wear sooner than honed options. This is a modern style stone.

Each slab comes in a different dimension from the sizes in stock.
Polished surface
The buffed finish reflects light and deepens the gray color.
Where to use it
The slab is rated for residential countertops in the bathroom and kitchen. A licensed fabricator templates and installs it. We hold three batches in stock at our Fairfax warehouse. Eight slabs are available right now. The batch list shows the specific sizes in stock. Slabs from one batch match most closely. You should seal the stone in these rooms. The stone resists etching better than marble. It still needs sealing in kitchens.

Care
Seal the stone in kitchens and wet rooms. It resists etching better than marble. Wipe spills quickly to maintain the shine.
