How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Nero Black in a Soft Satin Finish

Nero is a black sintered stone slab made by pressing and firing minerals, with a satin finish and 126x63-inch dimensions. The listed thickness is 1/2 inch. Its nearly uniform face creates a direct, modern field for kitchen, bathroom, and living room applications without visible veining.

Design

Near-Solid Black with Satin Sheen

As shown, the face is a deep charcoal black with an exceptionally even field and no visible veins, clouds, fossils, or contrasting spots. The pattern is almost absent. A slight softness in the tone keeps the slab from reading as a reflective pure black, while satin adds gentle sheen between matte and gloss.
