Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

  • Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
  • LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
  • Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
  • Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Nero Zimbabwe Riverwashed Sintered Stone

Nero Zimbabwe is a black sintered stone slab made by pressing and firing minerals. Its broad, nearly solid field gives kitchens and bathrooms a dark architectural anchor, while the 126x59 format supports large, uninterrupted layouts. The look stays restrained.

Design

A Riverwashed Charcoal Surface

Across the face, deep charcoal black carries a fine, closely packed texture with faint gray movement rather than distinct veins. The pattern is quiet. Riverwashed finishing softens reflections and gives the surface a gently weathered appearance that reads more clearly when light travels across the slab.

Low-contrast field

Fine gray mottling breaks up the dark background without creating bold lines.

Riverwashed finish

A subdued, textured face keeps glare low and emphasizes the charcoal tone.

Where to use it

Dark Countertops With Fewer Breaks

For kitchen countertops, the long rectangular format can create a broad black run with minimal visual interruption. It works equally well. Bathroom shower walls and living room interior walls gain depth from the low-contrast pattern, while residential light floors can carry the same controlled modern direction.

Listed dimensions

Each slab comes in the stated 126x59 size with a 1/4 inch thickness.

Fabricator delivery

The selected slab goes to a licensed fabricator for templating, cutting, and installation.
