How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

New York Silk in Soft Gray

New York is a gray Neolith sintered stone slab with a soft mottled pattern and a slim 1/4 inch profile. The 126x59 manufactured surface is pressed and fired from minerals, giving kitchen, bathroom, and living room plans a closely repeating design. Its gray feels warm.

Design

Misty Gray With Powdery Clouds

A light taupe-gray ground is scattered with chalky patches, tiny pale flecks, and broad clouds that move loosely across the face. There are no sharp veins. The Silk finish gives this quiet pattern a smooth, low-sheen appearance, allowing the layered gray tones to show without hard reflections.

Where to use it

Soft Gray Across Wide Planes

On kitchen countertops, New York creates a lighter neutral field than black while retaining enough mottling to avoid looking completely uniform. Larger applications work well. Bathroom shower walls and living room interior walls can carry the diffuse pattern broadly, and residential light floors can repeat that calm gray underfoot.
