How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Sintered Stone · Slab

Clouded New York With a Silk Face

This New York sintered stone slab has a warm gray field, a Silk finish, and a 3/4 inch thickness. Supplied in the fixed 126x63 format, the pressed and fired mineral surface works where a softly varied neutral is preferred over bold veining. It stays visually quiet.

Design

Pale Flecks Over Warm Gray

Viewed across the full face, the surface shows a mushroom-gray background with diffuse cream patches, dusty speckling, and scattered cloudy areas of varying size. Movement has no fixed direction. The Silk finish holds a mild sheen that reveals these delicate shifts without turning the slab into a highly reflective plane.

Warm neutral ground

The gray leans slightly taupe, with cream marks softening the overall color.

Scattered detail

Flecks and cloudy patches are distributed broadly instead of forming veins.

Where to use it

A Neutral Countertop With Substance

For residential countertops, the 3/4 inch profile and broad format give the material a substantial presence while the pattern remains restrained. The gray travels easily. It can continue through a kitchen onto interior walls, cover bathroom shower walls, or form residential interior floors in a living room.

Set dimensions

The slab comes at 126x63 rather than in random natural-stone dimensions.

Licensed installation

A fabricator measures the project, makes the required cuts, and installs the finished pieces.

Why we chose it

Closely repeated patternThe through-body design remains consistent among slabs from the same production run.
Low directional movementIts scattered markings avoid forcing a strong horizontal or diagonal layout.
