Product Description
Onx2 Style Gray is a 2x2 matte porcelain mosaic with a marble look. Its gray surface carries layered bands with a translucent visual quality associated with onyx, bringing depth and movement to the small-scale pattern. Each mosaic piece is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick.
The 2x2 format breaks the flowing bands into a detailed grid, while the matte finish keeps highlights controlled across the many small pieces. V3 shade variation gives the mosaic noticeable tonal changes, adding distinction from one section to the next. It is rated for backsplashes, shower walls, residential interior walls, shower floors, and bathroom floors and walls. Those ratings place it naturally in bathroom and kitchen settings without extending its specified applications beyond those surfaces.
The compact pieces allow the gray onyx effect to read as texture at room scale rather than as one broad image. On walls, the repeated 2x2 geometry organizes the layered bands into a consistent field. On rated shower and bathroom floors, the same pattern creates a finer visual scale than the larger tile formats in the collection. No water absorption, breaking strength, hardness, abrasion, chemical resistance, DCOF, frost, or thermal shock value is provided for this mosaic.
Onx2 Style Gray is sold by the sheet. One sheet covers 0.97 square feet, and a 38-pound box contains 10 sheets. The wider gray line includes 12x24 and 24x48 tiles in matte or polished finishes, along with a 3 inch hexagon mosaic and a sphere mosaic.
