How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Neolith Sintered Stone · Slab

Pietra Di Luna in a Silk Finish

Pietra Di Luna is a Neolith sintered stone slab with a light gray body, a silk finish, and a 126x59 rectangular format. This manufactured mineral surface comes in a listed 1/4 thickness and repeats its restrained pattern closely from one slab to another. It reads softly.

Design

Feathered Gray Across an Even Field

The photograph shows pale gray with slight beige warmth, covered by fine, misty mottling that has no firm edge or dominant direction. Movement stays diffuse. No bold veins, dark spots, or fossils interrupt the face, and the silk finish gives the understated pattern a smooth, gently reflective presentation.

Diffuse Mottling

Soft gray clouds spread evenly instead of gathering into visible lines or concentrated patches.

Silk Surface

The finish keeps the pale pattern smooth and refined without a high mirror shine.

Where to use it

Light Gray for Connected Interiors

In a living room, the broad neutral field can support residential interior floors or walls without setting a strong direction for the surrounding finishes. It adapts well. Residential countertops and shower walls are also listed uses, allowing the same light gray family to move through a kitchen or bathroom plan.

Thin Profile

The listed 1/4 thickness should be reviewed with the licensed fabricator during specification and layout.

Repeated Tone

Closely repeating patterning helps related wall, floor, and countertop sections maintain a steady gray appearance.

Why we chose it

Little directional pullThe fine cloudy pattern does not force the eye along a bold vein or stripe.
Known dimensionsEvery slab comes at the listed 126x59 size rather than in random natural-stone dimensions.
Clear delivery routeSlabs travel to the licensed fabricator by A-frame truck within 50 miles or crated LTL freight beyond that.

Questions we get

Is Pietra Di Luna natural stone?

No. It is Neolith sintered stone, a manufactured surface made by pressing and firing minerals, with a pattern printed through the body.

What is a batch for this product?

A batch is one production run. Slabs from it repeat closely, and the batches currently available are presented on this page as availability changes.

Who cuts and installs the slab?

A licensed fabricator templates, cuts, and installs it. Stone Tile Depot sends the slab to that fabricator and does not deliver it to the job site.
