Toros Black marble square coffee table
This square coffee table is made from first-grade Toros Black marble quarried in Turkey. It comes in five sizes, 28, 32, 36, 40 or 48 inches square, each 16.5 inches high, on a metal base painted black or white. It is designed for households where real living happens, a centerpiece meant to be used rather than only admired.
Design
Dark marble, bold frame
The dense, dark tones of Toros Black give the top a calm depth, and on a dark ground everyday dust and small marks show less than on a white stone. The polished finish creates a reflective surface that bounces light and brings out the natural veining, which differs on every table. The top is 3/4 inch thick, with the substantial presence of solid stone rather than a fragile look. Underneath, the strong metal base contrasts with the marble and gives the piece a contemporary outline that suits modern, traditional and transitional rooms.
Polished Toros Black
A 3/4 inch thick dark marble top with natural veining.
Black or white base
Painted metal legs to blend with or contrast the stone.
Where to use it
Five square sizes
A square footprint gives the most usable surface for its size and creates a balanced look in front of a sectional or a group of chairs. The 28 and 32 inch sizes suit smaller living rooms, 36 and 40 inches fit most seating groups, and 48 inches fills the center of a large sectional with room for books, decor and trays. All five stand at 16.5 inches, a comfortable height to reach from a sofa.

Delivery and setup
Heavy stone, careful placing
Solid marble is heavy in every size, so two or more people should handle the table on delivery. Set it on a level floor so the base bears evenly. Felt or soft pads under the legs protect wood and tile. Lift the table into place rather than sliding it, especially the larger sizes.

Care
Toros Black is a calcite marble with a polished surface. Like all marble it is porous, so acidic spills can etch the polish even where the dark colour hides them at first, and pigments can stain it if left to sit. Periodic resealing helps protect it, and how often depends on use.
