How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Vanilla Ice in a Quiet Honed Finish

Vanilla Ice, also called French Vanilla, is a honed marble slab with a creamy beige ground and very light natural markings. The color reads warm without becoming yellow. Random slab dimensions and individual variation make each photographed piece important when planning a kitchen or bathroom installation.

Design

Creamy Beige with Fine Pale Traces

Over the surface, soft beige clouds blend gradually, creating gentle tonal shifts rather than strong bands or bold veins. The field stays open. Fine white lines cross diagonally near the upper half, while a few short tan marks and faint hairline details appear lower down. Honing leaves the face smooth and matte, keeping the low-contrast pattern calm.

Low contrast

Soft cream and beige tones merge with only sparse pale lines and small tan marks.

Matte finish

The honed face avoids a mirror reflection and lets the warm color remain gentle.

Where to use it

Warm Backdrops for Kitchens and Baths

Kitchen countertops benefit from the restrained pattern when cabinets, hardware, or tile already carry stronger details. In a bathroom, the material can move from a vanity to shower walls while maintaining one warm color family. It feels settled. Residential and commercial interior walls also suit these marble slabs when a broad, softly colored backdrop is preferred.

Easy to coordinate

The creamy ground works with other project materials without adding a competing graphic pattern.

Fabricator selected

A licensed fabricator confirms measurements, plans the cuts, and handles installation.

Why we chose it

Questions we get

How does the honed finish appear?

It is ground smooth but remains matte. Compared with a polished face, it hides scratches and etching better and produces little glare.

Are the slab dimensions fixed?

No. This product is offered in random slab sizes, and the dimensions of the selected piece should be confirmed with the fabricator.

Can I order a slab sample?

Yes. A slab sample takes 6 to 9 business days to prepare and can help confirm the warm beige color and honed surface.
