How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Quartzite · Slab

Six slabs in Fairfax. Each slab is a single piece of stone with its own random dimensions and natural markings. This Verde Lapponia quartzite carries a polished finish that reflects light and deepens the green tones. We sell these slabs by quote and you request a price for the exact pieces you choose. Slabs ship to a licensed fabricator, not to your home.

Design

Green stone with light veining

The green base runs from pale to medium. Light veining crosses the surface in soft, irregular lines. The polished finish reads bright in direct overhead light and darker in shadow. Expect natural variation between slabs. Each slab differs in size and in the pattern of its markings.
