Product Description
Woodchic Chestnut is an 8x48 porcelain plank with a wood look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Woodchic copies brushed oak. It comes in Natural, White, Gray and Chestnut, as an 8x32 plank and as a rectified 8x48.
At 8x48 the plank is laid like a wood floor, usually in a staggered pattern. Being porcelain, it can go where wood does not, such as bathrooms, kitchens and basements.
Woodchic Chestnut has a matte, low-glare face that hides daily wear better than a shiny one. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 12.92 sq ft in 5 pieces and weighs about 49 lb.
Also in Woodchic Chestnut: 8x32 plank.
Woodchic is produced at Del Conca USA's plant in Loudon, Tennessee, and ships from the factory.
