A brand is the company that makes or supplies the product, such as Landmark Ceramics or James Martin. A series is one product line inside a brand, sold in several colors, sizes or finishes: Mood is a Landmark series, Bristol is a James Martin series. A collection on our site is a page that groups products by brand, material, color or use, such as the Made in USA collection or the MSI collection. Trim, mirrors and tops are matched by series, so the series name is the one to keep.
There is no single best tile brand; each brand on our site covers a different job, and the counts show where each one goes deep:
"High end" and "premium" are not standard grades for porcelain tile. To compare porcelain lines, use the facts on each product page: the measured size and thickness in the Specifications section, the finish, how many trim pieces the series has, and where it is made when that is listed.
A brand name helps you find a series again and match it later: a Landmark Mood tile has trim in the same series, and a James Martin Bristol vanity has mirrors in the same finish. When comparing tiles across brands, compare the facts on the product page: material, size, thickness, finish and the square feet in a box. Our checklist for where to buy tile online lists what to look for, and how to buy tile online covers samples, boxes and delivery. Trade buyers can apply for trade pricing on eligible tile and stone through the trade program.
As of October 2026, three: MSI with 1,640 products that have an Order Sample button, our own Stone Tile Depot line with 1,594, and Landmark Ceramics with 822. Together they make up the 4,056 products in our tile samples collection. Apollo Tile, James Martin, GMSTONE, FBR Marble, Place Of Clay and Vilona Onyx products do not have that button, and slabs are requested through the form on each slab page.
Our outdoor collection includes 549 MSI products, 230 from our own line, 183 from FBR Marble and 162 from Landmark Ceramics, plus smaller numbers from two paver suppliers. Those are pavers, pool copings and outdoor tile. The usage on each product page is the listing to rely on for a specific product.
They count active products with a page on our site in October 2026, grouped by the brand on each product. A brand or collection page can show a slightly different number, because collection pages can include products that are being added or closed. Lines change through the year, so the counts are a snapshot, and the brand collection page shows the current figure.
Pros Club trade pricing applies to eligible tile and stone at checkout when a member is logged in. Eligibility is set per product, so the trade specialist assigned to the account is the person to confirm it for a specific order. The item code under each product title identifies the exact product in that conversation.
