The best place to buy a bathroom vanity online is one where the product page states, before checkout, the cabinet's exact dimensions, what is in the box, which countertops fit, how it is delivered and the return terms. Those are the five things this guide checks. Our bathroom vanities collection lists more than 600 products as of October 2026; 300 are James Martin vanity cabinets, 200 single-sink and 100 double-sink, in 37 named lines. Each section below shows where one of the five answers appears on our vanity pages.
| Question | Where it appears on our vanity pages |
|---|---|
| Will it fit the wall? | The Dimensions line in the description, cabinet only: Amberly 48 is 48 x 23.5 x 34 5/8 inches |
| What is in the box? | The closing sentence of the description, such as "includes the vanity cabinet and backsplash only" on the Bristol 36 |
| Which top goes on it? | Top Options: White Zeus, Carrara White, Charcoal Soapstone, Victorian Silver, Parisien Bleu and more, each a separate choice |
| Other finishes or widths? | The Color & Finish and Size or Shape switches move between versions of the same line |
| Matching mirror and storage? | The Complete your project row: mirrors, drawer units and backsplash tile chosen for that vanity |
| A question before ordering? | The Request Info form on the page, or 1-800-622-8708 |
| Which product exactly? | The item code under the title, for example 157-V72-M-BW for the Bristol 72 in Bright White |
These are the questions a showroom answers in person. Online, each answer has to be written on the page.
A "36 inch vanity" is a width class. The number that decides whether it fits is the listed cabinet width, and our James Martin cabinets measure slightly under their class: the Bristol 36 is 35 7/8 inches wide. Depth matters as much in a narrow bathroom. The Bristol runs 22 7/8 to 23 1/2 inches deep, while the floating Alicante is listed at 39.4 x 15.6 x 29.4 inches.
James Martin widths in our catalog fall into clear steps. Counting the 300 cabinets by their listed size:
| Width class | James Martin listings | Where to browse |
|---|---|---|
| 20 to 24 in | 7 | Consoles and compact cabinets |
| 30 to 31.5 in | 32 | 30 inch vanities |
| 36 to 39.5 in | 66 | 36 inch vanities |
| 48 in | 52 | 48 inch vanities |
| 59 to 60 in | 68 | Single or double sink |
| 72 in | 59 | double vanity ideas |
| 84 to 120 in | 16 | Large doubles and sets |

The Bristol 72 lists six drawers, four cabinet doors and a matching wood backsplash, and the description states that it is sold without a countertop or sink and pairs with 3 cm eased edge tops and white porcelain rectangular undermount sinks. That one sentence answers the contents question before the cart.
A cabinet-only vanity is the base cabinet without a countertop or sink; a complete vanity arrives with its countertop and sink. On our pages they appear three ways:

The Alicante comes as a complete unit: a glossy white cabinet with its white mineral composite top and integrated sink in one listing, so there is no separate counter to choose. The same design is also listed in mid-century acacia and as a floating cabinet.
If the listing is cabinet only, the faucet drilling of the top matters next. The Amberly cabinet is pre-drilled for an 8 inch spread faucet, and our bathroom faucets and vanity tops are listed separately for that reason.
Our listings name the mount type in the title, so a search for floating or dual-mount vanities returns only those. Our James Martin dual-mount collection lists 19 vanities and the floating collection 21; the other cabinets stand on legs, a plinth or a base.

Dual-mount means one cabinet, two ways to set it: the Amberly ships with a wood base for a console look and can also hang on the wall. Its listing names six drawers, one door and a USB and electric outlet inside the cabinet. The Alicante is floating only and 15.6 inches deep. The dual-mount vanities and floating vanities collections group them, and our floating bathroom vanity ideas show them in rooms.
The style tags on our James Martin cabinets break down as 135 transitional, 63 modern, 33 farmhouse or modern farmhouse, 25 traditional, 20 contemporary, 12 modern luxe and 8 mid-century modern, with a few boho pieces. Finishes are named per line, such as Bright White, Saddle Brown and Whitewashed Walnut on the Bristol. Our guide to wood bathroom vanities explains what each wood finish is made of.

The Marcello 72 is a floating double in a chestnut finish, one of the 21 cabinets in the floating collection. At 72 inches it is in the same width class as the Bristol double above, so the two show how one width comes in a legged and a wall-hung design.
A vanity is a large, heavy item, so it does not travel like a parcel. Our shipping policy describes how freight works for large orders:
Our guide to buying tile online describes freight delivery in more detail.
Our refund policy covers returns: a return is requested within 30 days of delivery by email to sales@stonetiledepot.com, it applies to the full order, and approved returns may be subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee. Installed products are considered accepted. The other conditions, such as original packaging and return shipping, are set out in our refund policy.
Buying the vanity, mirror and wall tile from the same store keeps the finishes and dimensions on one set of pages. The Complete your project row on a James Martin page lists mirrors from the same line, drawer units and mosaic tile for the backsplash. We also list bathroom mirrors, vanity backsplashes and stone sinks for a cabinet with its own top.

For the rest of the bathroom, our guide to choosing an online tile store applies the same questions to tile and stone, and the brands we carry lists who makes what on our site.

Yes. Our vanity tops collection lists 56 tops, 19 of them from James Martin, in widths from a 15 inch top with no sink to an 84 inch double. James Martin tops come in single and double versions at 26, 30, 36, 48, 60 and 72 inches, and some widths, such as 26 and 30, also come without a sink.
Each entry is one countertop made for that cabinet, named by its color, such as Lime Delight, White Zeus, Charcoal Soapstone or Parisien Bleu. The Bristol 36 lists twelve. Some entries add a drilling or backsplash detail in brackets, for example "Single Hole, with Backsplash", and a top that cannot be ordered is marked "Sold out". The first entry, Select Your Top, keeps the order to the cabinet alone.
Yes. Every vanity page has a Request Info form that asks for your ZIP code, whether you are a homeowner, designer or contractor, and the project type, so the answer fits the job. The toll-free line is 1-800-622-8708, and the item code under the title identifies the exact model.
Yes. Trade buyers can apply to our Pros Club program, which applies trade pricing at checkout when a member is logged in and gives access to a dedicated trade specialist. Applying is free. The details are on our trade professionals page.
No. Our refund policy lists clearance items as not returnable, along with custom and made-to-order products. As of October 2026, 13 vanities are in our clearance sale, so read the dimensions and finish on those pages closely before ordering. Our store is rated 4.4 out of 5 on Trustpilot.
