Which marbles are in the beige slab range?
Crema Marfil is here as a polished slab at both thicknesses and as Crema Marfil T with a honed face. Diana Royal comes polished, leathered and with a full grain face, and our tile pages list the same stone as Royal Beige. The Botticino family appears under three names. Other beige marbles include Vanilla, Riviera Beige, Delano, Orca, Four Season, Cherry Blossom, Avorio Di Segesta and Crema Perla. Lord White is filed under beige in spite of its name, so the color field on each listing is the better guide to a slab than the word in its title.
Which Botticino slabs are there?
Botticino is a family name shared by three slab lines here, each with its own second word. Botticino Classico comes polished. Botticino Semiclassico is offered polished and with a leather face. Botticino Fioritto comes in both polished and honed. Every Botticino slab in this range is 1 1/4 inch thick, so the lines differ by name and finish. In look, Crema Marfil is a warm beige with fine, soft veins in irregular lines, Botticino Classico a beige ground with subtle gray and tan lines, and Diana Royal a beige ground with gray and tan veins that break across each piece.
Polished, honed or textured beige marble slabs?
A polished face is ground and buffed until it reflects light, which deepens the color and sharpens the vein. Polished beige slabs include Riviera Beige, Four Season, Delano, Cherry Blossom and Orca, and the full list is in polished slabs. A honed face stops at flat and matte, and that is the finish on Marfil, Fleur Du Desert, Desert Cream Light and Crema Perla, with more in honed slabs. Three textured faces appear as well: brushed on Striato Elegante, leather on Diana Royal and Botticino Semiclassico, and full grain on one Diana Royal slab. Vanilla and Botticino Fioritto come in both polished and honed versions. Leathered slabs across every color are grouped in leathered slabs.
How thick are beige marble slabs?
Every slab here is either 3/4 inch or 1 1/4 inch, close to the metric 2 cm and 3 cm used across the stone trade. Vanilla, Marfil, Striato Elegante, Four Season, Delano, Cherry Blossom, Breccia Oniciata, Desert Cream Light, Crema Marfil T, Diana Royal Full Grain and Crema Perla are 3/4 inch. Riviera Beige, Lord White, Fleur Du Desert, Orca, Avorio Di Segesta and the Botticino slabs are 1 1/4 inch. Crema Marfil polished and Diana Royal in polished and leather are offered at both thicknesses, so the same stone can be chosen in either one. Every listing gives its thickness in the specifications.
Where are these slabs listed for use?
Every beige marble slab here is listed for residential countertops and commercial interior walls. Shower walls are listed too, except on Vanilla in either finish, Riviera Beige, Botticino Semiclassico Leather, Avorio Di Segesta and Crema Perla. Crema Marfil Polished at 3/4 inch is the one slab also listed for interior floors. Residential interior walls appear on every listing except Four Season, Cherry Blossom and Breccia Oniciata. Kitchen and bathroom are named on every slab.
What is a breccia marble?
A breccia is a stone made of angular fragments that broke apart and were bound again by a finer mineral matrix. Its face shows patches and clasts instead of long running veins. Breccia Oniciata is the breccia in this range, a polished slab at 3/4 inch listed for countertops, commercial walls and shower walls. Striato Elegante is the opposite look: its name refers to stripes, and its brushed face is the only brushed finish among the beige marbles.
Beige marble beside the other beige stone
Marble is one material among several in beige slabs, which adds travertine, limestone and quartzite in the same warm range. The same marbles appear at tile scale in beige marble tiles, where Royal Beige and Crema Marfil are cut to floor and wall formats, and the paler end of the color runs on into white marble slabs. Every marble slab, in every color, is in marble slabs.
