How to Buy Slabs

Slabs are delivered only to a licensed fabricator. Review the delivery requirements before requesting samples.

Do You Have a Fabricator?

Slabs can only be shipped to a licensed fabricator for unloading. We don't recommend shipping slabs to job sites or to non-fabricators. Before requesting samples, make sure you have a fabricator to handle your slabs.

Slabs Are Heavy and Delicate

Special care is required when shipping slabs. There are two shipping methods:

Truck with an A-Frame: Check with your fabricator to see if they are equipped to pick up the slab from our facility where it is located. Your fabricator should contact us to confirm availability and pricing before you order samples. We deliver within 50 miles of the warehouse directly to licensed fabricators only (no job site deliveries).
LTL Shipments by Crate: If your fabricator is more than 50 miles from our slab warehouse, they should ask about pricing for crating and shipping. Please contact us for crating charges and confirm freight costs before ordering slab samples.
Slabs should be handled only by the people listed above. We are not responsible for any damage or liability from slab handling.
Preparation and shipment of slab samples may take 6-9 business days.

Marble · Slab

You select marble slabs by quote at Stone Tile Depot, and Diana Royal Polished Marble Slab Random 1 1/4 is no different. This beige stone arrives in a polished finish that catches the light and deepens the background tones. It ships as full slabs in random sizes, specifically 67x114 inches or 67x104 inches, depending on what the batch holds. We do not list a price because each slab is unique and cut to your project needs. You get a quote for the specific slabs you pick from our inventory.

Design

Beige background with moderate veining

The beige background carries a moderate variation between pieces, which means the veining and tone shift from one slab to the next. A polished finish is buffed to a mirror shine that deepens the stone's color and veining, so it shows etching and wear sooner than a honed surface. This look suits a modern style where clean lines meet natural stone variation. The variation is moderate, so dry-lay the slabs from several boxes before setting them to spread the color evenly across the installation. One slab covers roughly 48.39 to 53.04 square feet, but the exact size depends on the random cut.

Moderate variation

Veining and tone shift from one slab to the next. Dry-lay before installation to blend the pattern.

Where to use it

Slabs for walls and countertops

This marble works for residential interior walls, shower walls, residential countertops, and commercial interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs the stone, so we do not deliver slabs to a job site. Delivery happens by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the Fairfax, VA warehouse, or by crated LTL freight beyond that. We keep two batches in stock, with 14 slabs available in sizes of 67x114 inches and 67x104 inches. Slabs from one batch match most closely, so order your full quantity from the same batch when possible.

Licensed fabricator

We ship slabs to a licensed fabricator who templates, cuts and installs the stone.

Batch matching

Order from the same batch to ensure the veining and tone stay consistent.

Why we chose it

Two batches in stockWe keep two batches of Diana Royal in Fairfax, VA, with 14 slabs available in 67x114 inch and 67x104 inch sizes.
Random slab sizesEach slab is one piece of stone with its own size and markings, so the exact dimensions vary from the list.
Polished finishThe polished surface is buffed to a mirror shine that deepens the beige tones and makes the veining more visible.

Care

Marble reacts with acids like lemon and wine, so seal it after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads. Dry-lay the slabs before setting to spread the moderate variation evenly across the space.
