Product Description
Adagio Gris is a 12x24 polished porcelain tile with a gray marble look. Long, flowing veins move through the gray field in several related tones, giving the surface visible depth without introducing another color. Rectified edges and a 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness give the tile a precisely defined profile.
The 12x24 format brings a measured rectangular rhythm to bathroom, kitchen, and living room surfaces, while the polished finish reflects light and sharpens the layered veining. V3 shade variation means noticeable differences occur from tile to tile, creating movement across a larger area. It is rated for residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls, backsplashes, and light-duty residential floors. Its ID classification limits floor applications to level indoor areas kept dry.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less makes this impervious porcelain, so it takes up almost no water and does not stain from within. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. Mohs hardness of 4 to 5 is typical for a glossy glaze, while Class III abrasion resistance suits floors throughout a home. The surface has Class E chemical resistance and is resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Adagio Gris is sold by the box, with pricing shown per square foot. Each 67-pound box contains 8 pieces covering 15.38 square feet. The same polished gray marble design also comes as a 24x48 tile and a 3x12 bullnose.
