Adriatic Black with gold veining
This rectangular wall-mount sink is carved from a single block of Adriatic Black marble quarried in Turkey. The stone has a deep black ground crossed by warm golden veining, and because each piece is carved individually, the pattern of those veins is never the same twice. It measures 30 inches long, 16 inches wide and 6 inches high, a generous basin with a modern, minimal outline.
Design
Gold lines on polished black
Adriatic Black is a marble of strong contrast: a dark background with golden striations that run through the stone. The surfaces are polished inside and out, which deepens the black and lets the gold veins catch light through the day. The basin is a clean rectangle with curved inner edges, so water stays inside and runs toward the drain rather than splashing over the rim. The sink is solid marble, with no seams or joints. Moderate colour variation is normal for this stone, and the density of the veining and the warmth of the gold will vary from one sink to the next.

Where to use it
A floating basin or a vanity top
Hung on the wall, the sink floats above an open floor. That keeps the floor visible, makes a smaller bathroom feel more spacious, removes visual clutter and makes cleaning underneath simple. The 30 inch length and 6 inch depth give room for comfortable hand washing and grooming. The same sink can also sit on top of a vanity as an above-vanity basin when storage underneath is wanted. The 1.77 inch drain hole is pre-drilled for standard drain fittings, and a 1 inch bracket clearance underneath leaves room for wall-mounting hardware.

Installation
Plan the wall before it arrives
Solid marble is heavy, so a wall-mounted sink needs solid backing. Before the sink is hung, the wall should have blocking between the studs at the mounting height, which is easiest to add while the wall is open. The sink then rests on brackets within the bracket clearance. If it will sit on a vanity instead, the top must be flat, level and strong, and the sink is set in silicone. Plan the faucet early: a wall-mounted faucet needs its supply lines inside the wall at the right height, with a spout long enough to reach over the rim. A professional installer is recommended.

This sink is made to order on two production schedules, both in the 30 by 16 inch size with a polished finish. The 3 to 4 week option ships sooner, while the 8 to 14 week option is the lower-priced choice. Care
Adriatic Black is a calcite marble, and like all marble it is porous: acids such as vinegar or lemon can etch the polished surface, and water and stains can be absorbed if the stone is not sealed. How often it is resealed depends on use, typically once a year.
