Product Description
Bergen Gray is a 12x24 porcelain tile with a stone look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Bergen is a stone look made with Del Conca's Trace process, a dimensional glaze that gives the face a real, touchable texture. The color runs through the body, the edges are rectified, and the line covers 24x48 down to 4x12 with a Geometrie decor, mosaics and bullnose.
The 12x24 rectangle can be laid straight, in a brick offset or in a one-third offset.
Del Conca's Trace process builds real relief into the matte face, so the texture catches light like natural stone. The color runs through the body of the tile, so a chip shows the same tone instead of a light clay base. Shade variation is moderate: tone and pattern change from piece to piece, as in natural material. Del Conca rates the face at 0.50 DCOF wet or better, which meets the ANSI A326.3 minimum for level interior floors that get wet.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. Sold by the box: one box covers 15.5 sq ft in 8 pieces and weighs about 61 lb.
