Marble · Slab
Two batches of Carrara Sky Honed Marble Slab Random sit in Fairfax, VA, ready for your next project. Each batch is a group of slabs cut from one block, so pieces within that group look the closest to each other. This marble comes in random sizes, with stock currently showing 75x106 in and 74x102 in slabs. The finish is honed, which means it is ground smooth but left matte. Design
Honed Finish in Fairfax
The color is gray, and the veining moves through the stone in natural patterns. A honed finish reads matte in light and hides scratches better than a polished face. You can expect variation in tone and veining from one slab to the next. This variation is natural to the stone. Each slab is one piece of stone with its own size and its own markings.
Natural Variation
Veining and tone differ from slab to slab. Dry-lay pieces before setting to spread the variation evenly.
Matte Surface
The honed finish is smooth but matte. It hides etching and scratches better than polished stone.
Where to use it
This slab is suitable for commercial interior walls, residential interior walls, and shower walls. It works well in living room, kitchen, and bathroom settings. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. There are six slabs in stock across two batches at the Fairfax warehouse. Slabs from one batch match most closely because they come from the same block.

Care
Marble reacts with acids like lemon and vinegar. Seal it after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach or abrasive pads.
