Eighteen inch limestone squares
Jerusalem Light at 18x18 is a honed limestone tile with a 1/2 inch body. Each piece covers 2.25 square feet, four make a box, and a box covers nine, so a room comes together quickly compared with smaller formats.
Design
Sedimentary and even
Limestone forms in layers, and what that produces is a stone with even texture, small fossil traces and far less contrast than marble. Variation between pieces is moderate here, so tone shifts across a floor without any single piece standing out. Honing leaves the surface matte, which is the usual choice where feet and furniture will meet it. Beige limestone tiles of this size need a flat bed, since a large piece has nowhere to hide a hollow.

Limestone carries far less figure than marble, which keeps a large floor calm.
Matte face
Honing hides scratching better than a polished surface would.
Where to use it
Floors and walls, both sectors
Commercial and residential interiors are both covered, floors and walls alike, with bathroom, living room and kitchen recorded as rooms. Eight boxes handle 60 square feet with the standard cutting margin. Three matching trims exist: a 4x36 threshold, a 2x12 andorra and a 1/2x12 pencil liner, which between them cover most edges and transitions.

Care
Limestone is porous, so a penetrating sealer after installation is not optional, and resealing every one to two years keeps it working. Acids etch it quickly. A pH neutral stone cleaner is the right routine product.
