Product Description
Cemento Couture Smoke is a 2x2 lappato porcelain mosaic with a concrete look and a calm gray color. Its surface blends the mineral character of stone with the restrained appearance of cement, while the small square pattern adds a measured grid to the field.
The compact pieces give backsplashes and shower surfaces more visual rhythm than a large-format tile. A lappato finish introduces a subtle polished quality, and V2 shade variation creates slight, controlled differences among pieces. This mosaic is rated for kitchen backsplashes, residential interior walls, shower walls and floors, and bathroom floors and walls.
Water absorption of 0.5% or less makes this impervious porcelain, meaning it takes up almost no water and performs well in wet rooms. Breaking strength is at least 425 pounds, well above the 250-pound ANSI benchmark for floor tile. Mohs hardness of 7 resists scratching from grit and sand. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42, meeting the threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water. The surface has Class A chemical resistance and is resistant to frost and thermal shock.
Sold by the sheet, each sheet covers 0.97 square foot. A box contains 10 pieces and weighs 38 pounds. Smoke also comes as 24x48 tile and a 4 inch hexagon mosaic, while this 2x2 lappato format is offered in Sand and Atmosphere.
