Marble · Slab
Six slabs from one batch sit in Fairfax. A batch is the group of slabs cut from a single block, so those pieces share the closest veining and tone. Djamballa is a white marble cut to random slab sizes at 1 1/4 inch thickness. We sell these marble slabs by quote rather than at a fixed price. Pricing depends on the specific pieces you select from the batch list.
Design
The base tone is white. Dark veins run through the surface in irregular patterns. The polished finish reads bright under overhead lights and catches the eye from across the room. Each slab carries its own markings and size. Expect noticeable variation from one slab to the next and from a sample.
Slabs come in random sizes and are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls.
A polished finish is buffed to a mirror shine that deepens the stone's color and veining.
Where to use it
This stone suits commercial interior walls, residential countertops and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the pieces after delivery. Why we chose it
Marble reacts with acids. Lemon, vinegar and wine etch the surface. Seal it after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach. Do not use abrasive pads.
