Product Description
Essential Graphite is a 4x12 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Essential is a plain cement look with a faint iridescent sheen that shows when light rakes across it. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12 in Beige, Gray, Graphite and White, with a Design decor, two mosaics and a bullnose.
At 4x12, the tile works as a subway on a backsplash or in a herringbone on a floor.
The matte face has no sheen, so Essential Graphite does not throw glare and keeps footprints and water spots out of sight. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
Every piece is rectified, so the edges are straight and true and the grout lines can stay thin. It ships in full boxes of 11.65 sq ft (36 pieces), roughly 46 lb each.
Also in Essential Graphite: 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, 24x48 tile, 4x24 bullnose, offset linear mosaic, square mosaic.
Made in the USA by Del Conca USA in Loudon, Tennessee, and shipped from there.
