Product Description
Essential White is a 24x24 porcelain tile with a concrete look in a matte finish, 8.5 mm (5/16 inch) thick.
Essential is a plain cement look with a faint iridescent sheen that shows when light rakes across it. The rectified, colored body porcelain runs from 24x48 to 4x12 in Beige, Gray, Graphite and White, with a Design decor, two mosaics and a bullnose.
Lay the 24x24 square in a grid, a quarter offset or on the diagonal.
In matte, the porcelain tile reads soft and natural under any light and keeps smudges from showing. It is a colored body porcelain: the tint goes all the way through, which keeps chips and cut edges discreet. Del Conca rates the shade variation as moderate, so tone and veining move from one piece to the next. Its wet DCOF is 0.42 or higher, the ANSI threshold for level indoor floors exposed to water.
The edges are rectified, cut square after firing, so the tile can be set with a narrow grout joint. It ships in full boxes of 23.25 sq ft (6 pieces), roughly 92 lb each.
