Product Description
Fossilique Stone Crystal Gray takes shape as a 24x48 traction lappato porcelain tile with a gray stone appearance and pronounced fossil-like formations. Its expansive face reveals broad layers of mineral movement, while the traction lappato treatment adds a measured sheen. The tile has rectified edges and a 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thickness.
Large 24x48 proportions carry the graphics across fewer individual pieces, producing long areas of continuous visual movement. A V3 shade rating indicates noticeable variation from tile to tile, so shifts in gray tone and pattern become part of the room's character. Rated applications include residential and commercial interior walls and floors, shower walls and floors, backsplashes, and light residential flooring in bathrooms, kitchens, and living rooms.
Water absorption is limited to 0.5% or less, qualifying the body as impervious porcelain that takes up almost no water. The minimum breaking strength is 425 pounds, substantially above the 250-pound ANSI A137.1 benchmark for floor tile. Class III abrasion resistance accommodates residential flooring throughout the home. The material has also demonstrated resistance to frost and thermal shock.
Two tiles fill each 67-pound box, providing 15.49 square feet of coverage. Sales are by the box, although the displayed price is per square foot. Coordinating Crystal Gray formats include a 12x24 tile, 24x24 tile, 3 inch hexagon mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose.
