Product Description
Gard Stone Light Gray takes the form of a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with a soft gray stone look and restrained tonal markings. Its broad, low-sheen face spreads the neutral color across large sections of a room, preserving natural-looking variation without introducing gloss.
The 24x48 dimensions give the stone pattern room to unfold and produce a larger visual scale than the collection's smaller field format. Rectified edges create an exact perimeter, and each tile is 9 mm, or 3/8 inch, thick. V3 shade variation brings discernible changes in tone among pieces. Approved applications span residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, and backsplashes. The ANSI A326.3 IW class specifically addresses level indoor flooring that gets wet, including kitchen and bathroom floors.
With wet DCOF at or above 0.42, the surface meets the relevant ANSI threshold for wet interior floors. Its breaking strength is no less than 325 pounds, compared with a 250-pound ANSI minimum for floor tile. Mohs hardness of 7 signals resistance to scratching by grit and sand. Class IV abrasion resistance fits busy residential traffic and most commercial flooring. Chemical resistance is Class A, with additional resistance to frost and thermal shock.
The tile is packaged 2 pieces per 67-pound box, providing 15.49 square feet of coverage. Sales are by the box and pricing is shown per square foot. The Light Gray range also offers 12x24 tile, 2x2 mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose.
