Product Description
Havana Stone Dark Gray features a 24x48 matte porcelain tile format with a terrazzo look. Scattered stone-like chips appear across a dark gray base that recalls colored cement. The elongated surface expands the scale of the pattern, giving individual flecks and tonal changes more visual space.
The 24x48 dimensions create long uninterrupted spans, while the matte finish keeps highlights muted across the large face. Rectified edges provide a sharply defined perimeter. With V3 shade variation, differences in color and pattern are clearly visible among tiles rather than narrowly controlled. Rated applications include residential and commercial interior walls and floors, shower walls, backsplashes, and light residential floors. The IW rating further identifies the tile for level indoor floors subject to water, including kitchens and bathrooms.
This porcelain has water absorption of 0.5% or less, so it qualifies as impervious and admits almost no water. At least 425 lbs of breaking strength exceeds the 250 lb ANSI floor-tile benchmark. Its Mohs hardness of 7 offers resistance to scratches caused by grit or sand, while Class IV abrasion resistance corresponds to heavily traveled homes and most commercial interiors. Wet DCOF is 0.42 or greater. The technical profile also includes Class A chemical resistance, frost resistance, and thermal shock resistance.
The product is sold by the box with its price displayed per sq. ft. Two tiles cover 15.49 sq. ft., and the box weighs 67 lbs. Smaller Dark Gray coordinates include 24x24 tile, 3 inch hexagon mosaic, and 4x12 bullnose. White matte is available in this 24x48 size.
