Product Description
Havana Stone Light Gray takes the form of a 24x48 matte porcelain tile with a terrazzo look. Stone-chip shapes sit within a light gray, cement-colored ground, creating a speckled surface with the varied aggregate character associated with terrazzo.
Its 24x48 scale lets the chip pattern spread across a broad field with fewer breaks, giving larger walls and floors an open visual flow. The matte finish limits glare, and rectified edges establish a clean rectangular profile. V3 shade variation brings noticeable differences from piece to piece, adding depth to the aggregate effect. It is rated for residential and commercial interior floors and walls, shower walls, and backsplashes. The IW classification covers level indoor floors that get wet, including bathrooms and kitchens.
Water absorption is 0.5% or less, making this impervious porcelain that accepts almost no water into its body. Breaking strength of at least 425 pounds is well above the ANSI A137.1 floor-tile minimum of 250 pounds. Mohs hardness is 7, indicating scratch resistance against grit and sand, and Class IV abrasion resistance supports busy residential and most commercial floors. Wet DCOF is at least 0.42. It also carries Class A chemical resistance and resistance to frost and thermal shock.
The tile is sold by the box, priced per square foot. Each 67-pound box holds 2 pieces covering 15.49 square feet. Related formats include 12x24 tile and 2x2 mosaic, while White matte and Dark Gray matte provide other 24x48 color options.
